Commercialization Steps
With any new invention, many questions often remain about whether the technology represents a compelling value proposition.  The Innovation Center of the Rockies introduces Advisors/Business Drivers whose domain expertise offers insight into the commercial potential of an invention and helps define the key questions that must be answered before a value proposition can be demonstrated.   The Innovation Center of the Rockies and the Tech Transfer Office (TTO) can provide that feedback to the investigator, who may be able to answer these critical questions.

Some of the Key Steps;
Develop Opportunity Summary
Obtain “one-page” summary from TTO
Meet with inventors & TTO to understand:
-Nature of invention
-Uses and benefits
-Inventor interests

Match with market Expertise
Screen Innovation Center of the Rockies' network for individuals with Industry knowledge, market expertise, ability and interest

Facilitate Commercialization Discussion(s)
Facilitate meeting with Technologists, TTO & Business Community to discuss commercialization paths

Follow up for interest & feedback
Confirm management team availability and interest

Form Company to License Technology & Launch
Agree to CEO/team & inventor roles
Develop
